Solar Power Generation

1.3 Grid-Connected Solar Power Generation Systems (On-grid)

In 2023, the cumulative installed capacity of on-grid solar power systems was 5,021.09 MW, a 502.61 MW increase from 2022, representing a 11.12% growth. This can be categorized into 3,153.70 MW ground-mounted systems (62.81%), which represented the largest share, 1,775.19 MW rooftop systems (35.35%), and 92.20 MW floating systems (1.84%).

Comparing to 2022, solar rooftop exhibited the highest growth, which increased 427.86 MW (31.76%) followed by ground-mounted system, with an increase of 72.50 MW (2.35%), and floating system, with an increase of 2.24 MW (2.49%) (Table 1.4).
