Seacon Square Shopping Center, Srinagarindra Branch, had installed 5 MW solar rooftop on the store roof covering the area of 31,000 square (40 rai) using 15,000 N-Type double-glass bifacial panels. This solar rooftop system was one of the largest solar rooftop Southeast Asian, as shown in Figure 4.7. The system generated annual electricity savings of up to 33 million THB (Regular store’s electricity expenses was around 190 million THB/year.) Throughout the 30 years project’s contract period, the project will generate 187,000 MWh of electricity, reduce carbon dioxide emissions up to 90,400 tons, equivalent to more than 120,000 trees. Moreover, this will mitigate the generation of fine particulate matter (PM 2.5) level, which is a major problem facing in many countries.

        Furthermore, the company had developed the world’s first air-conditioned solar-powered bus stop (Figure 4.8) to offer convenience to customers without creating negative environmental impacts.
