The Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (TPQI) had collaborated with EGAT and KMUTT to provide certification for occupational standards in the energy and renewable energy sector, specifically in the field of solar cell electricity production. This certification included occupational standards for professionals working in solar cell power system design, installation, repair and maintenance of solar cell power generation systems, and sales of solar cell power generation systems.

        Currently, TPQI had established professional standards for 38 occupations with 65 qualification levels in the energy and renewable energy sector. More than 1,000 individuals had already received certification through this program.
